As a nitro fan, Kevins nitro videos are both horrifying and hilarious at the same time.

No break-in at all is not a great idea 😂 Anyway, let’s make nitro great again ⛽️👍

@ramsay4804 3 years ago

Let's give it up for that pull start🤣🤘🏻 that has to be the strongest pull start I've ever seen on a Nitro

@nitroluver4l591 3 years ago

Although this is a good reminder to always break in your engines, this was an extremely resilient engine

Precision nitro engine mechanics! When brains fail, brute force prevails lol

@user-qq2mo1ek2r 3 years ago

Tomley ran his in, no problems....Talbot goes all out and the engine chews itself .... There's a moral to this!

Hey Kev, i just noticed that at 6:34 when you were rebuilding the engine, you swapped the conrod
You were supposed to put the conrod with the small canal facing internally in the engine.
That way the conrod has no lubrication, therefore youu blew it up

You didn’t cut any cooling holes into the windshield of the body. No wonder it’s over heating.

I’m not even really interested in r/c cars but always love a new episode. Such a feel good show!

For someone who just has electric cars how fun are gas to actually use it seems like working on them like a tiny engine just seems so cool.

Subaru body with white wheels looks beautiful

the thing i love most about kevin is that he shows SO MUCH PROGRESS in each video, making it feel like a lot of going on and that you've been included in a lot of stuff! i love how he will basically rebuild an entire rc car in one video, not making us wait weeks to get more progress videos on the build

The hpi nitro rs4 racer I use for drifting has a piece of fuel tubing zip tied on the controller grip behind the trigger. It normally allows about 1/2 throttle. If I need /want more revs temporarily, I smash the trigger and it goes to about 3/4. You can play with the EPA to suit. It has ran like this for years and it keeps the revs in check when just tooling around. I've even let young children use it like this and it's fine.

Im guessing "Kevs engine rebuilds" isnt going to take off? Animal!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣

@Pablo668 3 years ago

It's odd Kev. On one hand you built that Monster truck, which takes quite some engineering nouse, and on the other, specifically with this car, I'm wondering if some of your ancestors were Pikeys.
Fun vid, I really have to get a nitro car some time.
