Hey everyone! A word of caution, please use the video for educational purposes. These firecracker demos are incredibly fun, joyous, and entertaining, but your safety is more important. Please remember to ALWAYS be safe with fireworks and do not replicate anything you see in the video. With that out of the way, happy Firecracker Saturday! And hope you're ready for an exciting 4th of July! 😄

Calling canister salute shells on their side firecrackers is pretty dumb, but it gets the views. 😆

PSA for anyone who would like to light large salutes greater than 3 grams, Safety glasses and ear protection are strictly required, you cannot replace your eyes or ears, The ground may have small stones which can be launched out like bullets, the firework should be on a shrapnel free surface like plywood, if it’s a bigger salute that would blow a hole in it, it should be elevated with a hollow cardboard box or hung from a length of twine or yarn suspended in the air, you can construct this setup with three long sticks secured at the top like a tripod, do not use a spent firework cake as the clay at the bottom of the tubes can launch out like darts, the salute tube should be placed perpendicular to the direction you are running to ensure the plugs do not hit you, avoid salutes with hot glue plugs, they shoot out like rubber bullets which leave a molt of flesh where they hit, usually built by idiots, do not even throw a salute because this kicks up shrapnel from the ground and randomizes the direction in which the plugs fragment

TLDR:

1. Safety glasses and ear plugs strictly necessary
2. Always suspend large salutes off the ground with hollow cardboard, taped to a stick shoved into the ground, or hanging
3. Always run perpendicular to the salute tube to prevent plug fragmentation
4. Avoid sketchy devices built by idiots

I grew up in India where they used to have these firecrackers called rassi bombs or sutli bombs (pronounced russy which means rope/string), they would often be nicknamed as atom bombs. It is basically a firecracker that is tightly bound with a fine rope that explodes with a lot of force and is louder than any firecracker I've ever heard, you can literally feel the shockwave hit you if you stood 30 feet away. They were eventually banned because of the disturbance they cause but I'm not sure if they're banned all over India or just in certain states. When I was a kid, I remember some of my older friends who stuck one of those in a dead tree trunk and we saw bits of the bark fly all over with the blast.

I guess at the end of the season, someone gets to spend a day driving a bulldozer over that staging area.

“You guys don’t even know what you’re in for”
Actually, we know exactly what we’re in for, since nobody has quite figured out how to replicate loudness through a phone speaker..

When you get over anything that is 6 inch you have dynamite.

These fireworks are the size of dynamites. But never, are they ever shaped like grenades. Something that's this insane. All of this has grabbed my attention the most. 😍
