My understanding was that the star rating system was 4 stars until Dave discovered Japanese wrestling. Where American wrestling focused on entertainment. Japanese went all in on in-ring. And the star system was designed for just in-ring since it was for newsletters (i.e, the internet of the 1970s. You had to save ink since ink was costly.) Dave felt the Japanese wrestlers were a star ahead of Americans. 4 stars was the top rating and rare. It was a match of the year tier. He felt the Japanese were doing so many 4 stars he added another tier, the 5 star. It's like online tier rating systems and they added the S-tier. Makes no sense. A-tier should be the highest but someone decided... S-tier.

If there isn't a close second to Neville's tribute show according to the Melt man, I wonder if he'd be able to quantify what was missing from the Brodie Lee or Jay Briscoe tribute shows.

I don't think sting hates WWE I just think WWE is not going to spend their time training a 35-year-old who's never wrestled before at the pc.

MLP still aired their episode on Wed. per usual. I didn't see Dave or Bryan or sickos cry about that one!

Hold on a second Alvarez is saying he knows a guy and then now he's saying everybody saying this which one is it and I feel like do old people just don't understand what YouTube is I think a lot of this is just made up just pure made up bullshit I think the younger generation knows that they all know how YouTube works and these older people don't play you can clearly see they don't understand any of modern technology

WWE for weeks said nothing about Worlds Collide except for the match card that we saw in the dirt sheets and everybody did the promoting for them. All the buzz and all the talk was where do we watch this where do we watch this that's all WWE did in the moment that we came up it's going to be next Wednesday boo they could do a house show add MSG and not say anything give it a cool name and not say where it's going to be talked about maybe some match rumors you're hearing in the dirt sheets will do the work for them and if it comes out or it's streamed or even if it's not it's still publicity
