Honestly man, this is legit teaching. I finally figured this out and my results are so much better and makes the overall process much more satisfying and less confusing.

Thanks alot Andrew! I just tried adding saturation and compression to my guitars and its taken them to another level, So good!

This is a great video! All my guitar processing goes through my quad cortex but what my production teacher told me was to HPF everything at 120 hz accept for sub and kick so there is no phasing issues. So naturally I did that with my guitars, after watching this I experimented and did HPF at 104 on my guitars and it sounded way better. Also used Decapitator saturation, limiter and boom my guitar tone sounds amazing. Thanks for all of the great content 🙏🏻🤘🏻🔥

this video taught me a valuable lesson about over EQing. thank you for that, sir

Surely leaving some bass in the guitar tone also helps glue the two together more creating the wall of sound!

good stuff

Will be super useful, thank you very much.

This is absolute gold. Found so much of this really useful. The difference without the saturation and limiter was mind boggling! I too have Nolly but have been a bit lazy with my tones and figured I'd fix it all later with EQ and buss compression. Thanks for a brand new way of looking at it.

Fantastic video as always, super helpful!

Amazing video!!! 🔥

Congratulations, very helpful. Can you make a video on the "other" guitars, the ones with delay?

Absolutely killer vid my friend!

Always forget about the synth trick
