"Nepo babies are not the problem. The real problem is the people who put them on a pedestal, treating them like gods—people who are completely out of touch with reality and have never done a day of real work."

The fall of hollywood is my new favorite thing in the algorithm

I actually don't think anyone really believes that Hollywood is about talent anymore

Nobody in the UK thought Victoria Beckham was working class, ever. She was called Posh Spice for a reason.

Children of wealthy parents always feel they got to where they are by themselves 😂

The problem with the rich isn’t that they’re rich, it’s that they’re entitled to power

Hollywood is dead to me.

David Beckham popping in to give his wife a realty check still lives in my head 🤣

It isn't just Hollywood; in the corporate world, too, one can observe "nepo babies" being elevated to high-ranking positions simply because their parents happen to be successful business owners or executives.
There is, in fact, a fitting proverb for this: The grandfather founds it, the father brings it to the top, and the son drives it into the abyss.

Nepotism is much more dangerous than people think; it speeds up the downfall of society.

"His photography was also being blasted for him claiming that elephants are hard to shoot despite them being massive and nearly always brilliantly well lit."😂

You don't see the cost until you do amateur theatre. So many talented people. Genuinely talented. Acting. Singing. Dancing. And without a hope of getting famous. Because they're nobodies. I've just done 'Jesus Christ Superstar'. I spent the show standing there in the background. Watching teachers, receptionists, book-keepers, and the like. All blurting their guts out. And doing it for the love of the game. But The Game's rigged.

Who tf names their kid Apple

All of them are insufferable.

Kim was a nepobaby even before the x tape, because her father was a very successful lawyer (he was one the lawyers of the OJ Simpson case):face-blue-wide-eyes:

As i sit before my 10 hr hospital shift, i can only think, "why didnt i work as hard as Kim Cardassian?"

“Can we talk about the political economic state of the world right now?”

We live in the era of the mediocre celebrity. Being mediocre while being deceived into believing you're exceptional is extremely destructive and almost always ends up tragically.

"I'm working class but my dad used to drive me to school in a Rolls Royce." Sums up all these Nepos in one sentence.
