I’ve been cooking up this video for over a year, I hope you all enjoyed it! The plan is to cook up a lot more videos this year, so let’s set a new channel record of 2+ in a year haha

Please Nintendo hire this man so that he can finish the rest of this game ... cause I'd be willing to pay for this.

This was so much work, amazing stuff

This is absurdly good. Most of the "remaking a retro 2d game in 3d" videos are too concerned about being absolutely faithful, that they don't truly ADAPT the game. This feels like an adaptation, not to mention how good it looks, which is another thing I don't see a lot of effort put into. Sucks that these videos are so rare but that's the price of quality. Keep cooking man.

DO NOT let Nintendo see this video

This looks cool. You should call it Super Mario 3D World!

Unironically you should do the rest of the game like this.  You already got a lot of the grunt work done with what you'd expect in the game.  And other then underwater shenanigans, ghost houses, some enemies/backgrounds and the bosses/castles, you are all but already mostly there to knock out most of the game.

I'm pretty sure a lot of people would play a full 3d version of SMW, with the kind of effort you have put into this already.

not only is the final product great, but the editing with the game assets was really fun.
what a joy to watch!

This is amazing! I started making (and printing) voxel models around the end of 2025. They can be a lot of work but they're so satisfying when they are complete. If you ever want access to any of my existing models or even if you have a new request to save you some time, just send me a message! 😃

This is the most high quality devlog I think I've ever seen wow

Bro disappeared for a year
Bro came back
Bro didn't disappoint
Awesome video! Keep it up

Did you just call Luigi..worse? Who hurt you

every object in 3d mario games cast dark shadows directly under them so players can know where the objects would drop

Nintendo must have made this man go into hiding because there’s no way they’ll let this one slide

I won't stand for this Luigi slander (13:03)

If this project ever became an actual game, you would need to worry about Nintendo going after you, because it looks seriously very good.

This is an absurd amount of effort put in, this video needs to explode so your effort doesn't feel wasted

If Nintendo has any sense at all, they'll partner with Bobby Ivar instead of suing him into oblivion. This looks like it would be the most fun Mario game ever created. I would happily pay $49 to play the full version of this.

I have no words. This is incredible. The visuals - the voxel characters - the movement - the way you translated how traditionally 2d enemies now react in 3d space - this VIDEO; the jokes, the editing, the sound effects - sincerely blown away from your work. In French there's a saying: chapeau! Meaning 'hats off.' Sincerely, thank you.

This is absolutely the most incredible thing I've ever seen, and it shows how passionate the fan base is.

And that's why I'm going to have to file a cease and desist and try to sue you for millions of dollars.
