I didn’t know your backstory. Big Kudos to you mate on your summit  ! However, you made two potentially huge mistakes that thankfully you got away with . The late start on the ascent was completely avoidable and you didn’t need that extra strain . The descent to Les Houches ( pronounced zooches ) was also the wrong call . 100 euro for a night is a no brainer when you are that fatigued. That said well done for the grit and making a vlog on top is no easy task . Seay safe , learn from you mistakes and keep making the quality content 🙏

Well done - was diagnosed with heart failure in 2016, age 46, dilated cardiomyopathy, my ejection fraction was 25 (heart pumping power), and the normal is 60, they fitted pacemaker etc.  I went downhill and felt sorry for myself, and my business went the lot.  2019 got a wake-up call and went all in, I started weight training plus wild camping for 3 months each year and cycling all around Europe, including French alps.  I am limited yes, but never give up.  Great climber.  Never go into the 26,200 ft death zones though.

We've just come back from a two week holiday in Annecy, I drove up and down all the high alpine passes, the road up to Chamonix is incredible, we went through a tunnel and there was Mont Blanc! Snowcapped and glistening like a Pearl,
I've seen lots of Mountain Ranges but my favourite is always the Alps.

(blanc is definitely impressive but give Mount Elbrus is credit it deserves its spot and a king of europe and its highest point at an insane 18,510ft or 5,642 meters)
