I visited Akasawa-juku in Hayakawa Town, Yamanashi Prefecture—a post town that once flourished with pilgrims visiting Mount Minobu and Mount Shichimen.

Designated as a "National Important Preservation District for Groups of Traditional Buildings," this hamlet is the embodiment of a quintessential Japanese landscape. It retains beautiful architecture from the Edo and Meiji periods, built to cling to the steep slopes, alongside atmospheric, cobblestone-paved paths.

In this video, I captured the surrounding lush mountains and scenic valleys via *drone aerial footage* and took a leisurely stroll through the nostalgic hamlet using an **action camera for a first-person (POV) perspective**, making it feel as though you are walking right alongside me.
I hope you can forget the hustle and bustle of daily life and find solace in the beautiful visuals and the sounds of nature.
