Listening from Tasmania Australia a dogs loyalty is unbounded

This story hit hard. The quiet strength of Daniel, the absolute loyalty of Rex, and the resilience of Hannah and Emily felt painfully real. What broke me wasn’t the violence—it was the choice not to look away, even when walking away would’ve been easier. Proof that courage isn’t loud, faith isn’t passive, and sometimes survival itself is an act of defiance. Thank you for telling a story that reminds us what responsibility, loyalty, and humanity really look like in the coldest moments.

I have to admit, the title really pulled me in, especially the “What Followed Will Break You” part. The story has a strong emotional atmosphere and does a good job building curiosity. That said, I felt the beginning was a little slow and dragged in a few places. Tightening that part up would make it even more engaging.

I'm disabled. However, I have a 70lb Service Dog. Not only for assistance, but also for protection. His loyalty, and assistance, have helped me, and saved me with safety of presence and loyalty.  I'm currently located next to Fort Bragg. My father, a retired AH-64 Apache Pilot, rank CW4 Master Aviator at retirement. Families also serve just in a different capacity.  Those families of other Service members understand.

Watching this story reminds me that even in the harshest circumstances, humanity and responsibility can still bring warmth. Daniel didn’t just save two lives, he also saved himself from running away. Painful, but deeply beautiful.

I was moved by how the story treats responsibility as something gentle yet unavoidable. It reminded me that life often meets people with purpose right when escape feels safest.

Thank god Daniel and his beautiful k9  found them many blessings to all ❤

Good story! The dog’s courage shows love without hesitation or reward.
I’ve seen dogs stand by people when humans walked away, and it stays with me 🕯🐶

My bio father was a Marine in WW2 IN San Diego . Never met him, but he did serve 🇺🇸 😊

Ontario Canada 😊😊. Thankyou for this awesome story

A beautiful story of courage, loyalty and a dog who would risk everyfhing to protect his master and injured women in hid presence. Danirl had chosen isolation to escape the past but the events that unfolded I believe helped Daniel eith his healing gave him more purpose

This story gave me chills from start to finish. Absolutely incredible.

God’s blessings to you all &your K9’s,always.Thank you for sharing this story.💞💞💞🐾🐾🐾🇦🇺

A SEAL finding two women left to freeze in the woods is devastating enough — but what followed shattered hearts and revealed the true cost of cruelty, while reminding us how powerful one act of courage can be.

Another good story well done!

Watching this, I felt how quiet courage can change everything. Sometimes God doesn’t remove the storm, but places the right people inside it. This story reminded me that compassion, presence, and choosing not to look away can be a form of faith in action.

This felt like an Alaska myth in modern boots—Daniel’s silence, Rex’s instincts, and two lives hanging between earth and mercy had me breathless. The way he moved from “I’m done” to “not today” was pure redemption. ❄🐺✨
