I would have kept the pig in tact

I think the buckle at 14:13 is from a dog collar. The pin is looped to accept the registration/rabies tag, which prevents the hole in the leather from slipping through.

So happy I came across this page. Much more interesting considering my age (69) than the ones done on beaches. Really enjoying your finds. Maybe because I also do family history’s and genealogy. Just love old things. Happy Hunting!

Dan's property is beautiful. I'm glad he invited you and allowed you to bring us along for the fun. Thanks Dan! Brad, as always, your cinematography is top notch!!!

FUN FACT: for newer viewers, Brad writes and plays all music heard in his videos. So not only is he a great treasure hunter, videographer, he's also is a musician, and leather worker with very nice hand made leather products! The holsters among other things are really cool.

I have the exact same piggy bank sitting on my roll top desk right now. It isn’t all rusted though. I am 70 and have had it all my life.

After watching a gazillion vids of you guys fighting rocks and roots slicing through this yard like butter must have been a treat.

The brass D is likely a D-ring. For a bridle / collar / shoulder bag / backpack ect. Looks hand forged. Neat !

I kind of can't believe you broke the piggy bank!?    It was worth something restored!    ❤

The flat D ring (and probably the buckle) are off either a horse’s halter or head stall.

I have lived in NH since 1988.  I was born in Vermont.  In the 1960's, my parents used to go bottle digging in old dumps.  They're both gone now but a few of their finds came to me.

Amazing property and finds. Thanks Brad for taking us along.

The cow ornament was too funny!😊

“Be Prepared” was the official motto of the Boy Scouts.  A lot of times the tokens were given out at Jamborees.

I tried to do some research on the bovine medallion. The gothic, columnar framing likely isn't actually Art Deco—it's more likely High Victorian or Art Nouveau (dating roughly between 1880 and 1915). In the late 1800s and early 1900s, specialized livestock breeding associations exploded across New England. Organizations like the American Jersey Cattle Club, Hereford associations, or local New Hampshire agricultural fairs awarded metal prize ribbons and pocket watch fobs to farmers who exhibited champion bulls and dairy cows.

The ‘D’ is likely a D ring, used as a cinch on a strap, likely leather.
The cap gun halves and their opposing landing locations are undoubtedly the result of an exasperated dad or older brother who was snuck up upon and POP-POPPED one too many times who then—in a fit of familial rage—snatched and snapped the offending gadget in two and heaved the remains in two different directions.
I swear it’s like I was there.

Great episode, really enjoyed watching this one. Great day out with some great finds, well done !! Cheers

My fav part of the video is the chickens!

Siblings quarreling over the cap gun. Each took a piece.
