I love that HCTP borrowed moments from 1999-2002. Sometimes it’s better to copy great material than to come up with mediocre original material.

I had a lot of fun ruining Vince McMahon's speech in SvR 2010 to the point I let him finish the speech so that I could restart and have fun with the production a little more lol

Having the player toss Triple H into the screen in gameplay instead of a cutscene was my evolution as a designer - trying to give the player as much storytelling through gameplay as possible.

4:58 how does Vince feel the drawing 😂😂

As much as THQ could be inconsistent with the series, It was always clear they were fans of WWE and loved wrestling, how games could tell stories that RL WWE couldn't like the Candice wand magic in SVR 2007. That honestly would be something Vince would do if he could.

The Reason why I always play smackdown Vs Raw 2006 it's because of the Teddy long Storyline and also GM Mode.

Dx drawing stuff on vince was funny as hell 🤣

It always sounds like they were whispering while recording the voice lines for the older games

4:26 there's also a unique scene if you just draw around the screen instead drawing at Vince's face

Man I miss good season modes like this in the SmackDown vs RAW games.

To be fair, if your gonna copy something then copy it from your own show.

I was in attendance at the Air Canada Centre (now Scotiabank Arena) in 1999 when Bret Hart wore a steel plate under his Tie Domi Leafs jersey when Goldberg speared him

Mega Magazine was a bit based on Mean Magazine, which I wrote for occasionally before working at THQ. Legal had to check that it was okay to use.

That Vince speech was fun to write, too. Vince as always gave a great voice performance. His actions were mocapped by Todd Soley who went on to voice Ethan in RE 7 and RE Village.

16:56 usually girls get disgusted when they see other girls where the same clothes

I love how Teddy just stood there while the car was driving towards him lol

I wish they did the thing where they made mr. McMahon sound like he let loud fart and then at end when asked for his music go to his 80's music video

A bit earlier I was thinking of searching to see if anyone made this video, I'm thankful to you for making this and YouTube for recommending it.

Ive got an idea times WWE games predicted the future.
WWE 12 predicted: Miz in a wheelchair and kinda predicted AEW.

some moments copied were better than others

Man Road To WrestleMania was short but incredible looking back.
