So glad they explained the difference between the original Sens franchise from the early years and the 1992 EXPANSION franchise. Sens fans get really pissy when someone says the Sens (obviously meaning todays Sens) have never won a Cup. Which is accurate.
It's a pity Butch Goring is not in the HOF. He was the best player the Kings had for many years. I doubt very much the Islanders would have won 4 in a row without this energizer bunny.
Willie O’Ree wasn’t the first person to break the color barrier, it was Larry Kwong. O’Ree was just the first black person. Kwong broke into the NHL 10 years before O’Ree. If we’re going to put people in the HHOF just because of race, Kwong should also be in there as well.
I understand that this couldn't cover everything for every team... but dang... NO mention/photo of Jeremy Roenick or Ed Belfour during Blackhawks segment? They were megastars.
EDIT: NO mention/photo of Wings-Avs brawl/rivalry during Avs segment? That pretty much defined Colorado as a league power from the start. Again, I understand that you can't cover everything for every team... but that was a pretty historic era that should have been at least mentioned/a few seconds of video, etc.
