Normal Nuzlocke Ruleset:
1. Fainting = Death
2. Can only catch Water type Pokémon; This includes non-Water type Pokémon that evolve into Water type Pokémon, but not non-Water type Pokémon that evolved FROM Water type Pokémon (Species Clause)
3. Nickname Pokémon

Hardcore Nuzlocke Ruleset:
4. No items in battle (held items okay)
5. No leveling past the next gym leader/E4 (at the START of the battle)
6. Play on "Set" battle mode

Bro’s storytelling has evolved so much. I watched almost all his old nuzlocke’s from 2-3 years ago and WOW what a difference. Back then, it was still entertaining from his pure skill in nuzlocke’s, but now we get to enjoy a cool storyline combined with high IQ plays
