Toyota should be ashamed of themselves.

If I have to get another car, I won't be looking at anything new.

Toyota got Americanized. The have lost their culture of quality and continuous improvement.

Those prices are crazy

Toyota got greedy and social media hyped them up about their reliability after covid

Well Honda has even more recalls than Toyota on their 3.5 engines. A lot more.

It’s so backwards nowadays. We used to buy a new car to have one more reliable when our old cars started failing. Now the new ones cost more than my first home did and are very unreliable and we are better off pouring our money instead into our old cars to keep them going.

I don't think we're seeing the end. They made one bad engine and the GR 86 engine is made by Subaru.   Historically they address issues more quickly than other manufacturers.

These companies are intentionally building junk. Planned obsolescence. They're not cars anymore they're just tracking devices. Anything past 2010 is junk...... I highly recommend buying something in the 1990s

The tundra v6 twin turbo has locked up even after the recall engines were replaced!

Of all the manufacturers on JD list, you called out Subaru, when they are more reliable than any other brand above Toyota except Lexus (which is funny itself, being a division of Toyota)

Last year I was in the market for a new mid-sized truck.  Skipped ford, gm, and Toyota.  Never in a million years I thought I'd buy a Nissan but bought a Frontier.  Only morons will bring up "internal water pump" while ignoring gm horrible transmission, ford wet belts.

I got a Recall Letter 2 weeks ago for my 2024 Rav4. I forked out nearly $40k for Toyota Reliability and there's already a recall! Thankfully I bought 2 extra years on the warranty.

Bought a 2026 Pro4 x Frontier for a little over 39000. Awesome truck! Brand new.

Those prices are insane.

Mazda cx5 between 2019 and 2025 for me

Every major vehicle manufacturer has been getting more and more Recalls, catastrophic failures, engines, Transmission, CVTs! EVs, batteries! Junk!

The world economy is being systematically dismantled and this is one of the many consequences. It’s not just Toyota. It’s everything. Keep your old stuff.

Toyota moved their truck production to mexico a few years back and the reliability has been shit ever since.

I don't care how reliable a Toyota that is 16 years old and two hundred thousand miles for 30 thousand dollars all said and done with taxes and finance. People stop buying cars until manufacturers get their stuff together the problem with all of these people that either telling you cars are good or bad if you watch closely they really just have become advertising tools for the dealers.
