As a professional chef and pastry chef I usually hate watching celebrity chefs arrogantly making a pig´s dinner of their ingredients but this guy is an ABSOLUTE JOY to watch and listen to.

Love the channel. It's like a British equivalent of those Japanese/Korean ASMR cooking channels. But instead of cute little cheesecakes and chocolates, we get meat pies.

I really appreciate how you recognise that some of your followers may not eat pork (for whatever reason) - you mentioned it more than once. a nice touch, John.

I cannot think what rivals the English Pork Pie. My father took making them very seriously and I took them very much for granted, until I left home. I had forgotten about pork pies until today. Thank you for reminding me.

My wife and I (Syracuse, New York, in the US) love your channel and made these tonight. I've never made a crust in my life but this was so easy and they were DELICIOUS!

The amount of views for this video shows just how much love people have for a great British growler!
I introduced my Polish mates to pork pies a few years back, and now they're absolute connoisseurs!
They won't buy one from a supermarket, and absolutely won't buy one that comes wrapped in plastic. It's only butchers shops and market stalls for those lads!

So, I've been making and enjoying great pork pies the way John taught me @ 4 years ago. I wasn't going to make these pies until I noticed the pork seasoning for these little gems was different from the original. It only took one wonderful bite to realize that I now have a new favorite pork pie. Thank you, John!

Pies are the greatest achievement of British cuisine, in my humble opinion.

That is absolutely brilliant. Another great use for a muffin tin! I’m retired, but my wife still works and I’m always trying new and creative ways to make lunches for her and these are going to be absolutely perfect. She loves your steak pasties by the way.

The pork pie is possibly one of the greatest foods ever.

I have watched 2 of your videos and subscribed. My family came to America from England in the 1600s. I enjoy English cuisine very much. Thanks for the enlightened videos and recipes. I look forward to seeing more and will try them .
