I burned out this summer, pretty good.
Not from a job. From my own business, my own goals, my own five o'clock alarm that nobody asked me to set.
This episode is unscripted. Just me talking through what burnout brought to the surface, perfectionism, the need to perform, and the identity I built around being “good enough.”
I took August off. I slowed down. And somewhere in that space, I started asking:
What does being myself actually look like when nobody is watching?
I’m still figuring it out.

The activities aren't draining you, you've just spent what you had. Using all that willpower to 'shapeshift' yourself to how you think everyone wants to see you pretty much leaves you nothing from the get go.
We're all the center of our own universes, our brains default context is centered around how stuff impacts you. Everyone is like that though, so when you think you might be judged, the people you think might have noticed probably have their own little insecurity going.
