Watching this storyline from SETX, USA 🇺🇸! Praying for improvement in military relations, respect and honor! Bullying mentality is contagious and the leaders at the top need to be equally held responsible and accountable for allowing this kind of bullying and harassment to occur and continue! The lack of respect for women causes the team to be weaker than if they were respectful!
I enjoyed the story very much, great story line. A few discrepancies though. Medals are not awarded from the commanding officer or FOB or any normal base of operation, they are suggested by report of activity from officers to the chain of command that reaches that department higher up. Plus there was no mention of Purple Heart to be awarded, or Command in Combat Badge. The later being something a lot of high ranking officers desire to have for respect and possibly higher rate for retirement. Some Generals never have it because of their MOS during service. When given command they sometimes get units killed because they(the General) lack the experience of combat to lead. On this section I could be and am probably wrong on the terminology of "Command in Combat Badge". I am sure that different branches have different names for the ribbon and or medal awarded. One example of the incompetence of this is in the Clint Eastwood movie "Heartbreak Ridge". Don't get me wrong, there have been and will be officers that will desire and deserve this and be competent to command in combat. Keep these stories coming because a lot of us enjoy them.
at the time of britain in india, an officer visited afghanistan and recommended the place be left alone. no on believes intel officers. just the way it is. every prat with a 'god-complex' knows best. if someone has ideas different from your own, leave them alone, perfect your own. but no!
