Quite literally stuck Doomscrolling.

Help! I've softlocked and I can't get up!

When you realize Doom 2016 was Doomguy waking up from an eons long softlock, suddenly his rage seems quite justified.

It boils down to "Romero's maps are solid. Everyone else's are broken"

"The video game is playable, but no progression can be made." So, if you're as good at FPSs as I am, every level is a softlock.

Help me stepcino, I'm stuck

0:40 all hail the mighty yellow background, hallowed be its name

"Good morning, Mr Freeman!" from Barney the Archvile was unexpected and hilarious! :D

There's actually one more in E2M1 exclusive to how you set your audio settings. If you have your Music Volume up high enough, it's actually impossible to leave the map because of how bangin the song is.

Honorable shoutout to Vytaan running out of all ammo on Eviternity II's map 26 during his D2ALL, being stuck without berserk, low-ish health and a cyberdemon on a small platform - then proceeding to punching the remaining health out of the cybie... :D

The patron read still feels so empty without AGONIZING RECTAL PAIN 😭I appreciate AGONIZING ORAL PAIN very much but it still doesn't hit the same. I hope he/she comes back some day :(

Okay the way the windows sound was thrown over the midi in the back at 0:14 was super smooth

This feels like Geometry, Algebra, and Calculus class all in one and it being about DooM is the only reason I'm able to pay attention. Math teachers should take note.

decino: "you can just leave"
evil decino: "you are stuck"

At 8:59 i got an ad saying "If you could win money without getting off of the couch, what would be the first thing you would do with that money?" And then i skipped the ad and you said "DOOM II Time!" Incredible timing.

10:41 That super short arachnotron death sound ironically made me laugh a ton

Decino, there is one softblock in the first episode of Doom I, you forgot: In E1M9, right near the exit, there is an alcove that contains several specters, which, if you manage to reach before it closes, you'll be stuck there, as the door cannot be opened from the inside.
Another infamous one is from E1M6, where the "secret" room with the map can only be open from outside. This was fixed in later versions.
