Ben claiming mental health issues while we had people like Rodman who still continued to play as hard as he can while struggling with addiction and mental health simultaneously
Damn bro, I won’t disagree, Jordan is easily one of the greatest players to have ever set foot on the hardwood, but sadly, that’s where his accolades abruptly end… Anyone who is a fan of Jordan hasn’t met him and I’ll stand by that 1,000%. My mom was an attorney who specialized in contract law and from 1988-2016, she worked with a plethora of athletes, celebrities, media personalities, executives, etc. Anyway, when I was 11, I was a huge fan of his and, by extension, the Bulls too, but during my holiday break from school, my mom took me along with her to attend some meetings and whatnot. What struck me instantly was how Jordan was arrogant, dismissive and borderline rude, not just to me, but seemingly everyone who interacted with him. I should point out that having grown up in proximity to professional athletes, celebrities, musicians, etc., I knew how to interact with those types of people without getting on their nerves or being weird. I didn’t even ask for an autograph or a photo, I literally just said “Hey Mike, I am a huge fan” while I extended my hand in order to shake his. He literally looked past me, stood up and walked away. Not even a “fuck you kid” or something, just completely ignored me. My mom said “Oh, he’s very busy son, you just caught him on a bad day or at a bad time, don’t take it personal.”. I met him 3 more times throughout the early 90’s and each subsequent meeting was almost identical to the first one. MJ is a self absorbed narcissist who doesn’t care about his fans or really anything other than himself and his image. He fucked up by losing Juanita btw, she was a literal ray of sunshine! She was always extremely nice, even to an annoying 11 year old (me) and never once made anyone feel “less than” or “unimportant” or whatever. Anyway, I just wanted to share my experiences with MJ and see if anyone else had similar experiences with him or Juanita.
The main reasons for Draymonds actions for the past few years (with Rudy, Domantas and Nurkic) are SEMI defendable. Did he go too far, sure. But at the same time Rudy had Klay in a lock and Dray went to defend him. Nurkic was grabbing and holding Draymond all game. Domantas falls and grabs Draymond's ankle and doesn't let go till he stupidly stomps on his chest. Then his flagrant on Bron was just pure bs. Bron runs the fastbreak and Dray goes for a steal. Bron then throws himself backwards and cries about it
Kobe is the most hated legend of all time people keep saying he needs help to win championships and he tried to get traded to Chicago multiple times, but when he finally got his fifth ring, everyone loved him
