I edited this episode in one hour! thanks for watching everyone!

The main thing ive taken away from watching u jon, is to NOT attach urself to any idea of how its supposed to sound. U put no limits and just let the beat go where it needs to go naturally. And i admire that.

Maybe I'm one of the rare cases of people who found out about you from this channel, and not your music beforehand. I really thought you were a small YouTuber, but in reality you're pretty big. I really love these videos, and they are inspiring me tenfold. Thank you so much!

Love the usual format, but theres something special about seeing the whole uncut process! Hope you do more of these in the future

40 minutes of Jon Makes Beats

10 minutes of Stress Makes Jon's Heart Beat

Jon you’re so down to earth mang, we appreciate you and benefit from seeing this process so much brotha. Thank you!

Yup, even in a 1hr video - he makes it look so easy!

The way that beat was knocking 38:29 he said lets go had to check make sure its was rec was on he said lets go!!! 🔥🔥🔥

"You make it look so easy!"

demands TWO hour video next time

But in all seriousness, as a fan of about 15 years, I know you don't just whip stuff up in a few minutes and beat's done. It's been awesome seeing your process, whether it's in the bite size videos or the longer ones. Hopefully both formats work for different subsets of the same audience. Keep it up!

I really like the editing on this videos. That overhead wide cam is great and audio is so crispy

This channel randomly came up in my feed. I bought your wayniac CD you were hocking out of a 45 travel case at best soup where the cd jacket was sharpied on notebook paper. Congrats on your success. RIP Ras

Jon - makes a bunch of good beats in an hour
The rest of us - find a good kick in an hour 😂

3 minutes in and you hooked me . I love to watch the process. Thanks

I really hope Jon got that Akai sponsorship

Hands down this is one of the best hours I've spent watching you tube! Thank you for sharing a very transparent process in your creative method. Salute!

Great beats as usual and I really appreciate this upload.  A lot of people, especially younger or new producers get this false impression that experienced producers are like these super human gods that can reach for 5 to 10 elements in 15 minutes and whip up a banger on the spot and that's just not reality at all.  Now can you sometimes pull it off that way?  Sure, but 70 percent of the time it takes hours fishing around to craft a cohesive sound that's balanced and can expand to a whole song.  Making music can feel exhilarating when it goes right but it's not always this glamorous, sexy thing and it involves time, dedication, and constantly researching music theory or new production techniques.  One thing I wish I had done more of back in my teens and 20s that hardly anybody told me to do, which is the simplest thing in the world...read the manual or help files for yourself to fully understand the hardware or software you're working with.  You'd be amazed with how many wonderful features are hidden in there and can gain a better understanding with the things you think you know.

This video was inspirational from the get go. Honestly I’m only 10 minutes into the video and I feel like this has already opened up so many doors and limitations I had producing my own beats. Watching your content is what originally inspired me to start making beats this year and I feel like so many questions I would never ask are answered here

Killer rhythm sense you got Jon! the bass in the first beat is just mind blowing.

40-41 min goes crazy

Loved it. I hope some takeaway is that beats aren't just drums, and there is a process.
