i feel like people expect sophia to talk the most during interviews since she’s the leader AND the yapper of the group 😂 — but she actually takes a back seat a lot of the time and i feel like lara & dani tend to speak the most.  instead, she’s like everyone’s fallback. if they don’t want/know how to answer a question they turn to her and  every time sophia already has a well-constructed answer locked and loaded. she’s such a good leader

even during their trainee days in Dream Academy Sophia was constantly ranked by T&D as number 1 in Attitude/Personality (revealed on tiktok by one of their former staffs) and was also ranked #1 by 14/18 trainee girls as the member who they want to be part of the final line up. when she graduated high school, she was awarded with a leadership award too. it’s like her being a leader was always meant to be wherever she goes

She's the kind of leader who lets her members shine at the same time their back up when they need help.

Sophia is a very concerned, considerate, and sweet leader. The company saw strength in her, and she is intelligent too.

I think if she wasn’t in a girl group she would’ve been a fantastic Miss Philippins. She’s beautiful, hardworking,eloquent, intelligent…

In the part when she's getting everyone in formation, they're in Manila. It's her grand homecoming. That big crowd is there because of her. She should be the one overwhelmed and yet she's the one keeping it together for everyone. That's true leadership.

Sometimes the sign of a good leader is knowing when to step back and allow the others to speak or answers the questions! She is an amazing support system for the other girls!

idk why some ppl are trying to discredit sophia as if being a leader is a jackpot thing. Just like what yoongi said being a leader is additional work with no advantages so what sophia deserves is utmost respect for being one.

I remember when Megan and Manon got sick Sophia brought a photo card with their picture in it. It must be hard for her to see her group incomplete she is the one assuring the fans that they are OT6. Carrying her missing members pictures with her so that they will never be forgotten 😢.

it’s not shocking at all that they would choose her. She is very dedicated  (as musical theater kids usually are) and is the oldest of the group. Also it seems all the girls trust her a lot and look up to her. So yes, she is very deserving of being leader imo

Carla, Sophia's mother calls her "Mama" because she is always a leader. She is like a mother to everyone. very responsible to fellow members. she always thinks the others before herself. You can see that on every offstage or  pre-performance footage. HXG President Mitra mentioned she's a natural born leader.

Sophia’s mother was a singer in the Theater, Broadway and former Miss Saigon’s Kim. Her father was a dancer. She gets her parent’s confidence.
