Assassin’s Creed – Echoes of History
11,106 views
At the height of Italy’s Renaissance, Florence was defined by one powerful name: the Medici. Renowned for their intellect and banking genius, the Medici family's dominance bred deep jealousy in their rivals, the Pazzi family. Ss shown in Assassin's Creed II, in 1478 they concocted a conspiracy with Pope Sixtus IV to change history forever, and eradicate the Medici from power and existence.
Matt Lewis asks Professor Catherine Fletcher to tell the story of how the assassination plot unfolded... Together, they separate fact from fiction to reveal just how close the game’s events mirror the true Pazzi Conspiracy.
