Dont even support Arsenal but I watch for Henry, he was sooo good.

Henry was easily the best player in the world at this time

Jesus Henry was a monster

The ref was being paid by Inter and they still had 5 smacked past them 🤣

This is the first football match I can recall watching on TV. Arsenal were a mighty team back then.

That Henry goal vs Zanetti likely the best RB at the time in the world is just outrageous!

Are we still going to debate whether AC3 was the best left back on the face of the earth for about 7/8 years?

How arsenal did not win the champions league during this era was beyond me.

Rumour has it BT Sport had to ask James Williams for the Arsenal and Inter lineups

Jesus, how awful was this referee!!

Uploaded after Henry voted best player in PL history:)

Man back when we were in the UCL and could actually defend, miss these days

One of the weirdest games I can ever remember on the big stage. It looked like a perfectly ordinary game until it suddenly wasn't. Inter were only 2-1 down and had a good penalty shout six minutes from the end, then Henry scores brilliantly on the counter and then they just implode!

Wow that Inter Milan simply looked...dead

I forgot Cygan existed.

This game looks like it's a PES game.

There are many comments confusing this season (2002-2003) with the next (2003-2004) in which arsenal lost to chelsea in the quarter finals. Instead in 2002-2003 , this Arsenal side got knocked down by Valencia in the 2nd round group stages (there used to be 2 susscessive group stages). Paradoxically, what looked like a poor Inter side , managed to reach the semi final vs Ac Milan, and was even missing Vieri due to injury during the semis (Vieri got injured earlier when Inter emiminated the same Valencia side that Arsenal couldnt beat). My guess during this game is that few players might have been missing in the Inter side. Because Lamouchi in midfield isnt really of the standard of Cristaino Zanetti and others for example. Emre was missing and he was a key player.

When I was this early arsenal could defend

Man united fan here Henry was class loved watching him 👏
