I still watch Frasier from beginning to end at least twice a year and have done so for over ten years. It's my comfort show and gets me through my hard times. Niles is my favorite. <3

He's absolutely right. The magic of Frazier was in the writing and the quality of the cast.

‘I’ll miss the coffees,’ is the line from Niles in the final episode of Frasier that always brings a tear to the eye. David is such a wonderful actor.

The relationship between frasier and Nile’s was the real success of frasier, their acting and the scripts were second to none, one of the best comedy shows ever!!

David was the absolute best character on Frazier. He was amazing and the physical comedy was flawless.

I use to work at Paramount Studios back in 1995-1996. One night I was walking alone down one of the streets at the studio and in the other direction, coming towards me was David Hyde Pierce. I was about to say hello but he beat me to it by saying hello to me first.
Let me tell, you, I could have randomly picked 50 other people that worked at Paramount that weren't famous and not all of them would say hello in the same situation.
Nice guy. Briefly, working in the Hollywood industry, you can tell who were the nice people and who was not. Pierce was one of the good guys. Martin Sheen and Dee Wallace Stone, and Henry Winkler were three more that come to mind in that category.

"I love you, too, Daphne" remains one of the most devastating lines in television. And DHP's delivery of it is just sublime.

David is one of those men who to me embodies old Hollywood, he really is one of the last true gentlemen. Loved this interview.

The best physical comedian ever. He made Frasier what it was.

What's notable about Frasier is that it disproved the idea that popular sitcoms need to be low-brow, philistine even.
What a talented, agreeable man.
