Happy New Year everyone! We hope you enjoy this video! John has made a huge impact on the Sixgun world and this is a great tribute gun to him. Enjoy the video and keep John in your prayers.

Mr. Taffin's influence has cost me a lot of money over the years. And for that, I thank him.

After reflecting on this video for a couple of days I've come to the personal conclusion that Johns contributions have been no less significant to our shooting and outdoors culture than that of our earlier icons that include the likes of Elmer Keith, Skeeter Skelton, and a host of others. That's a big statement to make but I'll stand behind it. Thanks for all the help John.

Been a Fan since the early 80’s. I’m 60 now, Mr. Taffin has been the reason I own 6 single  actions. I guess it’s gonna be 7 now. RIP Sir.

Been praying for John for a while now and will continue to do so. His writings on sixguns have been such a blessing and pleasure to read over the years. Thank you all for keeping us updated on him and thank you for honoring him with this beautiful sixgun.

Taffin, Keith, Jordan, Skelton... all huge contributors to the sixgun world. All legends. Brian, your work with firearms and handloading is also exemplary.  Thank you for all you do.

The stuff with John at the end is fantastic. Watching him become more and more animated as he starts discussing guns was a treat. Thank you for the video.

The visit with John was a beautiful thing.  ❤

John is indeed one of our national treasures. Such a kind man, and generous with his information and experiences.

Basically, almost all of my opinions on handguns, I have stolen from John Taffin. Thanks for the video and update on JT.

I love Mr Taffin. We've chatted in letters a time or two. It broke my heart when Mike Venturino passed

Hope John gets well soon and feels better

Just bought a JT tribute gun. Came in while I was getting a hip replaced. Hopefully will have in my hands in next few days. Have read many of John’s books. Got a signed copy of one I wrote to him for along with a check and letter. He took the time to respond to my letter. Great writer and good man. Miss his writings and load data in the old six gunner. God speed John in your recovery. My two young grandsons will grow up knowing who you are. Will read your books and shoot many of the guns you’ve touched upon in your writings. Thank you to all involved in this great tribute.

John is a living legend, and I'm proud to have been able to meet and talk with him a few times through the years.

RIP Big John Taffin

All the best to John Taffin and his family.
All the best to you Brian and your family.
It is great to see someone like John recognized!

I’m 62 years old. I’m crying like a baby. A hero to me    Legend.  Those magazine writers taught me to  learn   The craft of Handgunig.  What a guy.  Thank you J T !

Mr. Taffin is truly a national treasure. I love everything he has written. I've never met him in person but have spoken to him on the phone. An expert on revolvers and PPP. Wish him all the best and pray God heals all his aches. I'm 62 and disabled so I can sympathize with him. Long life and God bless in this New Year.

Thanks for posting this Brian Pearce. And thanks to Lipsey’s for getting behind this project.

I’ve read his books and articles in the magazines for years, but nice to finally hear his voice and I wish him recovery
