a great video, learned a lot. thank you. you have my attention and I will reach out when the time for the move comes

Your house can go to half the value like in 2008 don't listen to a sales pitch. It may drop anytime. There are no good paying jobs in bend. If you move there bring lots of money with you because you are gonna need it.

Y'all have the jobs to make it out there on that type of cost of housing

Did this dude compare major cities like LA to Bend OR? Lol thats not a proper comparison

Posting videos is a responsibility. You are clearly a person who wants to feel good about your decision to live in Bend and a salesperson who just wants to sell homes. I lived there and know you are stretching the truth on every single topic. Example:

The beautiful blue sky? Bend's air quality is now 1,500% worse, Google it. I was there in August 2020 when it was so smoky my clothes had to be washed just from going outside to the store, visibility was only a few blocks for over a month and hazardous air quality (300 – 600) for weeks. Look at the AQI chart and let that sink in. Green = Good 0 - 50. Yellow = Moderate 51 - 100. Orange = Unhealthy for Sensitive groups 101 - 150. Red = Unhealthy 151 - 200. Purple = Very unhealthy 201 - 300. Maroon = Hazardous 301 and above. How can you say that the Willamette Valley has terrible air when the fact is CO is horrible too.

Art & culture? Really, last time I checked there is not an actual art museum with Masters work anywhere in Central Oregon. Or a symphony hall. And major headliners don't play at the Hayden Amp., it's too small

No traffic? The entire city is doomed with only 2 lane roads and no way to expand them. And the roundabout system just creates one long endless stream of cars because there are no stop lights to break up traffic. Half the accidents in Bend are from desperate drivers trying to cross a main street but there are no gaps.Traffic gets worse and worse and I did not even mention the 20 - 30 minute delays from the train that drives North to South, cutting the city in half.

The perfect airport where flights are rarely delayed? It's a small secondary airport where weather (snow, wind, rain, smoke) always delays flights. My worse: I was diverted to Seattle because there was a tiny 3 acre brush fire 5 miles from RDM. Even the local news reporter said there was barely any visible smoke. Closed the airport all afternoon. A joke!

And lastly home prices? You talk about big cities like the average cost of a home data is a meaningful comparison to Bend. Los Angeles has roughly 80 neighborhoods, all unique, some vastly different so a blanket average cost is ridiculous. You are a realtor and should know better. I will debate living in beautiful, clean, coastal, convenient Playa Vista CA versus Bend OR any day of the week and twice on Sunday. Better in every possible way but you keep on selling that Bend is utopia BS. And keep that "Your investing in an asset" theory when the next correction takes place and every home in Bend drops +20% erasing all equity. It happened in 08 and will again.

Go with the truth, Bend is a nice Northwest city for people who embrace isolation and don't need to work.
