The plaintiff says the defendant is a high school friend who, after leaving the club, gave her a ride on his motorcycle. She claims the defendant was driving recklessly when he hit a curb and caused her to be tossed off his bike suffering many injuries. She's suing her former friend for medical bills, lost wages and court costs. The defendant says the plaintiff wanted him, and the only reason he gave her a ride is because she begged him. He claims he didn't cause the accident, the plaintiff did, and so he's countersuing her for his motorcycle damages.

In the Defendant's defense, my late father was in a motorcycle club for years. The person in the back's movements can and will throw off the balance of the bike and make you crash. You have to keep still or move a certain way, especially on turns.

The plaintiff didn't follow the instructions, and she pulled him out of the lean. He said that. This was a case where bringing in an expert would have helped. I believe him.

Had a similar case riding a friend on my ZX-6R. The passenger has to lean in the same direction with the driver. Otherwise, you will fall.

If he knew she was intoxicated and he let her on his bike, knowing that her movements could potentially cause an accident then he was negligent and letting an intoxicated person on his bike to impact his driving

A young girl asked me recently what was the craziest thing I did when I was younger and I told her I hopped on the back of a motorcycle 🏍️ with this guy and we went speeding all on the expressway!!! I can’t even lie it was so fun 🤩 but looking back now I told her I wouldn’t recommend it!!
