It's a very controlling mental illness that took away years of my life, my ability to live normal (whatever normal is).
Then one day it was like something just clicked, I'd had enough, I was fed up with being scared of the panic and just walked out the door.
It's now been about 6 months and I've been to more places in that 6 months than I have my entire life.
Most days are without panic but some with it.
I started telling myself 'what's the worst that could happen?! So I get sick infront of someone or I have a panic attack, life moves forward and people forget'.
Don't get me wrong some days I have said nope I'm staying home today, but I try my best not to make it a habit, and look at places I'd love to visit and things I'd like to do.
There is very much a way out of this illness, trust yourself and never give up. It's so very worth it.
Don't let the panic control you, you control the panic because YOU are in control. X
