People create a business and then act like their customers are acting entitled to their time or life. Like, you decided to allocate time and part of your life to provide a service for someone. Completing that in a timely manner is not the same as being at the customers every beck and call. Especially when you give a timeline and still keep pushing back.

The fact that it would be far less effort to just BE a REAL wedding photographer

No one is making death threats to her or her family. That’s just how guilty people try to deflect when they don’t want to admit they suck as humans

I have zero knowledge, understanding, or experience in wedding photography. What I do know is that this year, my cousin got married, and the photographer had videography and a file accessible to everyone with all the photos on it within a couple of weeks. All well lit, immaculate composition and capturing our family's vivacious energy. Oh, and the bride and groom got to see the raw photos pretty much the next day.

Never in my life did I think Ammy would be covering the biggest cancellation from my town 😵‍💫 my experience with her was horrible but I didn’t get scammed thankfully, I just had to hound her for my photos but got them within a week or two if I remember correctly (gender reveal with less than 10 photos). She not only has one child but several and would constantly use them as excuses to why she couldn’t deliver, she said they’d be in the ER constantly, then she would use the fact she had a high risk pregnancy as an excuse as well, she gave the same story to dozens of women in our local fb group all while still promoting her business and accepting new clients. There’s honestly so much more to the story than was covered in this video, it’s truly a whole deep dive!

6-8weeks is a huge chunk of time, especially when someone keeps adding more weeks onto that. Why start a business if you can’t provide what you advertise? I’m not a professional photographer but I’ve taken pictures for people’s senior photos, weddings, etc and with the technology we have it should not take more than like 3 weeks,. Depending on the size of the wedding, of course, but still. 6-8 is pushing it, not to mention at the rates she’s charging! Woowee 😅

I don’t even consider this a typical scam, she’s doing this, not just for money, but because she clearly get satisfaction when ruining people’s most important moments.

I do family photography as a hobby for family and friends, but people do pay me for my skill. However I have been very sick and in a bad mental health space this year and I am not saying yes to anyone atm because I know I don't have the capacity fir it and will end up letting people down. You manage your workload appropriately and say no when you need to! That's the beauty of being in an industry like that!!!! Ridiculous

If you tell someone you’re going to take legal action if they dont give you the item that you paid for by a certain date, and then that date comes and goes and you don’t take legal action, the scammer isn’t going to take you seriously. If you say you’re going to take legal action, then DO IT. The scammers aren’t scared of your threats. They’re scared of people actually going through with the threats, which seems so rare. People just let scammers walk all over them, especially the TikTok business scammers

I’m convinced some people just like to ruin big events for people because they are bitter, sad people. It gives them some kind of satisfaction. Like it seems like people keep using their hardships to justify their bad behavior, which then gives people actually struggling and even worse name.

my friend had a similar (but less bad) thing happen with her wedding photog - took WAY too long to get her pics back, while the photographer was posting to her social media doing promos and procrastinating responding/providing updates. she did finally get the pics back, after maybe a month and a half or two? and she was a little underwhelmed with them.

i understand it’s probably stressful and overwhelming to run a small business, but it looks so bad to court new customers while ignoring your current ones.

I’m actually surprised that more people don’t know about her considering how many people she has screwed over to this point.  So many. It’s a shame .
