In this video titled I Tried To Play One Of The BEST HRE COUNTRIES, It Was A BAD IDEA I, The Red Hawk, play as Meissen and then Saxony in Europa Universalis 5 1.3. Saxony or the Prince Elector of Saxony is one of the most powerful and important countries in the HRE in EU5, but of course it doesn't exist yet in EU5 in 1337, so I decided to start as Meissen and try and form Saxony. So for that reason I decided to finally play it and play a real game as Saxony in EU5 and explore the latest version of EU5 the 1.3 update. Surprisingly this turned out to be one of the most fun games and EU5 experiences I've had. Even though this isn't an EU5 Saxony guide or EU5 Saxony tutorial you can still use various tips and tricks mentioned in this video for your own EU5 Saxony gameplay. On "Friedrich the bitten", his Mother had to flee thier Castle when he was still very young, she could not take him with her, so she gave him a kiss on his cheek. But she got overwelmed and bit him (aparently cutness Aggression was already a thing), he sufferd quite a scar from that. It is said that he wore it proudly as sign of motherly love. The whole Story is now a folktale in sayony.

Watching you navigate the Bohemia war was actually quite enjoyable!

I think the emperor can currently just call anyone into all their wars and it doesn't even matter if they have a truce.

As long as there is enough gold in the HRE treasury, the emperor can force members into any war for a price. You can also donate your own gold into the HRE treasury if there isn't enough.

6:32 the claim throne cb is one of the strongest in the hre as it allows you to full annex saxe wittenberg at a -75% antagonism cost, and that includes any of their allies you can separate peace, you can annex all of them for less than 50 antagonism total(you don't actually have to force anyone into a union)

Your revenge towards Bohemia was soooo satisfying

The emperor can call in HRE members into any war they are in by paying the country.

very common reaction to getting basically free annexations as meissen. one of my favourite places to play

Ha! Currenlty playing as Saxony. It's a very fun playthrough, especially when trying to unite Lower and Upper Saxony into a single realm, increasing your Great Power status.

Hi, are u going to make guide like the ones u used to do in eu4, explaining the privilieges setup, economic build of the nation, values, diplomatic Focus and all that stuff? I think It would be quite usefull for the ones we strugle with the game. Thank you.

One tip for the "Request financial aid from circle member".
If you spend all your money the request just goes away, no need to spend money to accept or deny it and lose circle happiness.

This Dev team may actually be stupid. Bohemia is able to rally the entirety of the HRE against itself because they paid pennies to a dude despite their truces. How does that even get by your watch? 1.0 was fine because I was use to bad releases, but these devs just keeps making the same mistakes every time they release a new thing
