In my opinion, there has never been a better apocalypse monster than the Witherstorm. It is impending doom, even an army of endermen can only slow it down, a nuke has no effect on it.
Nothing built can last forever, and the Witherstorm is here to remind you of that. You can run. You can hide. But eventually, it will find you. And when it does, you'll wish you were in hell itself rather than facing it. Even the most legendary warriors cannot stand against it, it is impossible to defeat. In fact, the only thing that can defeat it is itself...
(Much like the Omnidroid from the Incredibles but thats besides the point)
The Witherstorm is not so much a monster as a hurricane. A force of nature. Something you cant fight. When you see it coming, you have to get out of the way.
(Another movie reference i placed here but you'll have to guess this one.)
But unlike a hurricane, it knows where you are. It follows you.
Or more specifically, it follows the one thing that will help you stop it. The Amulet. This monster is intelligent.
And maybe thats what scares me the most.
