My oldest granddaughter and my nephew were born a couple of hours apart. I was babysitting both one afternoon and sat them on the kitchen floor and gave each a big plastic bowl and a wooden spoon. My granddaughter held the bowl upright and stirred (or tried to) the imaginary contents of the bowl while my nephew turned it upside down and started slamming it with the wooden spoon. Boys and girls are different right from the get-go!

I've been telling people that it was global cooling before global warming, they literally flipped in 88. I always have a gaslighter try to tell me that never happened, no scientists promoted that, it was a media invention. The crazy thing is that before global cooling, they were pushing...global warming! Starting around the 30s during the dust bowl

When you get eggs you always open the container to see if any are busted, and you always jiggle each egg with your finger* to make sure it hasn't cracked on the bottom and glued itself to the container. *you can also shake the container up and down slightly to check but this doesn't always work. If you find a broken egg set the container back, preferably on a different shelf, with the lid open... it's the curtesy flush of egg buying.

The valuables in the diaper trick is fine until someone throws it away or a dog runs off with it ( or a seagull takes off with it).

I just watched the intro, I can't watch the rest yet, I have to go and close my fridge. Here I was thinking the doors were decorative.

12:25 yes it's a thing. It's called thermal shock. You can't put very hot glass on a cold surface.

You know you are old when you bought your first answering machine and it had one tape. It would play the message then fast forward to just after the last message and beep for you to start recording to message. If you had a lot of messages they might have to wait a while. A fancy one would have 2 tapes. And you could call up and type in a pin and it would play back your messages.
