Forest of Dean Bikepacking Day 2

Having arrived late to set up the tents, this morning, we actually got to see the campsite, before heading off around the Forest of Dean and tackling two more Official Climbs. The pick of them was the Kymhin, with great views from the summit. So What did I think of my first bikepacking trip? I absolutely loved it, and will definitely be doing it again soon. If you are thinking of venturing into bikepacking, then do it, take the plunge, it opens up a whole new world of exploring by bike.

Wow, great view from that first climb, then that valley, then Symonds Yat cafe/view. You earned that breakfast! Never been to that area but you've made me want to visit. Well done Pete and Darren.

What a great adventure! Have looked up at the Kymin countless times from Monmouth (it's a long old way up!) but never seen the view the other way round. Looking forward to more of these videos 👍🏻

Really enjoyed that one Darren, we have stayed down the road camping for FOD , and know how beautiful it all is, Pete looked genuinely breathtaken by the views

I recommend the Forest of Dean because it's got hills... I'm out! 🤣🤣 Just got back from Devon, I'm all hilled out for now. Looked like a great little adventure, nice one Darren👍

Wicked, can tell this bike packing sojourn has re ignited your mojo for cycling, and why wouldn’t it! Everything about it was brill, except perhaps for Pete treading in dog shit'!!! Hurry up and muster up the courage to tell the Mrs you’ve got another longer trip planned so you can do it whilst you still have the weather. I look forward to it. Cheers

Great filming and editing, and good music to. Love your videos, unfortunately I'm now to old to do these kinds of rides, and have now changed to electric mountain bike, but your videos provide great reminders of what used to be, or could have been.
