Top Tells according to the Live Poker Guide

1. Bet size = strength.
2. Verbally eliminating part of range = strength
3. Peacocking strength = weaknss.
4. Snap calls eliminate the top of range
5. Draws hit and the villain quickly bets, eliminates middle strong hands that would have been monsters on prior street(s).

Don't ever rely on a live tell until you see CORRELATION. Bet sizing can change based on position, or how many players are in the pot, or changing table dynamics. Don't assume big pf raises are stronger until you SEE that pattern from that villain for yourself. If you notice a behavior, try to guess what it means. Then see if you were right at showdown. If you guess right consistently, then you've found a tell. Anything else is pure speculation.

I used to give false tells to win hands. It works usually.

More brilliant coaching, all of this is 100% correct. All new poker players need to listen and learn. Cheers

I'm new to poker, but more often than not I leave the table with a decent net positive. It seems that in poker, the only tell you should have is your brtting patterns, not anything physical.

The 5th tell was great to know, I often go all in the street after I check-raise probably too quickly with a bluff and I get called to often. Thanks for helping me adjust!

This is legit advice for low stakes. 👍

Best tell of all?  All those yoyos at the table staring at their phones. I make so much money!

Each table. Each session. Changes from hour to hour. Even one new player to table changes dynamics

Solid for 2/5 also honestly.

i watch several poker players playing various stakes... ive seen SO many "All in" shoves on the river, and all they got was a fold.. over and over and over.. and they wanted a call..
it seems to be far to polarizing.. if they DONT have a monster themselves, they cant call a huge bet..
seems to be leaving money in their stack, that a smaller, 1/3 or 1/2 pot bet might get called.. or even raised..

nice video

9:20 why couldn’t your opponent have 89 and raised you on the flop with OESD, fire second barrel and as soon as ten comes instantly fire a river bet, since his draw is there? I agree that he probably doesn’t have a set or two pair, but why street draws were excluded out of his range?

Forgot about the 6th tell.  If they mention your channel, then a big bet on the river is a bluff and a small bet is for value.  ;)

Definitely on the first example with villains aces. This is something I see live especially. A normal pre flop raise is around 10 normally average, then someone pumps it to around 20-25 and I just already know what they have.

You have to make sure you track open sizing based on number opponents in hand I open different amount based on how many limpers, usually 5x + 1bb per limp. Has nothing to do with hand strength.

Well,
1. It works with some dumbos in 1/2 and 1/3 to split your raise sizing, I see it all the time. I don’t do it, instead I start sizing up if the table is too call happy. Call call call, $40 with AKo for example. In 1/2. Find the sweet spot to get 1-2 callers.

At the level I play people give off those false tells so they snap bet when they hit it on the river big, and when they have a set they value bet into nut changing rivers also...  In other words you need to have it in order to call!

Doyle Brunson taught me the one tell that cant be hidden is the pulse in a man's neck, I have made some people my personal atms with this tell, if its pulsing hard and fast they are nervous and dont have a hand, it is insane how many bluffs ive caught people in with this, unfortunately you cant see everyone's neck always
