Iâm giving brown another chance! For round two of my little âCan I Make Brown Work?â experiment, I took the brown paint I had made from my table scrapings and added even more magenta, turning it into this gorgeous chocolatey-maroon color.
I paired it with light yellow, burnt orange, blue-green, magenta and a champagne metallic made from gold, copper and silver. I also changed the composition this time and tried to create something softer and a little more wispy.
There was definitely one section I wasnât happy with along the way, but instead of giving up on it, I reworked it and I am SO glad I did. The dried result surprised me way more than I expected, and I think we can officially call this brown/maroon experiment a success! Hope you enjoy the video! Thank you so much for watching. Happy painting!
