Just FYI, Librewolf uses Firefox Sync, you just need to enable it in settings

Switched to Brave a year ago. Very happy with it, and nice side-effect: it doesn't show me the nagging ads in YT!

thanks for the detailed breakdown, I would love to use Zen if it didn't feel so rough around the edges 🙂

Technically they still are in the chrome famillies. I mean they all run on chromium made by google. So even if there are better chromium, under the hood it's still a ram eater at some point.

So technically you don't fully escape root of chrome.

I use Firefox for almost 20 years now. There was a time I used Opera but it broke horribly for me at one point so I migrated. I tried WaterFox, LibreWolf, PaleMoon, Chrome, Ungoogled Chromium, Vivaldi, Fennec, Opera GX and Brave. Each time I switched I then came back to Firefox. I now refuse to use Chrome-based browsers at all. I don't want Google domination. I want more independent projects like Firefox. I want competition.

I liked your video but I just want to point out that although I love brave but I have noticed it drains my 2024 MacBook Air battery a lot compared to Edge and Zen ( around 26% in 90 minutes ) any tips because I truly love brave but the battery drain is a deal breaker ??
