Hello, friends! Welcome back to Faithfully Planned! 🤍📖

Well, friends… we're having a little heart-to-heart today. 👀💜

Recently, I came across a conversation about **overconsumption in the Bible journaling and Bible study community**, and it got me thinking about something I wanted to share with you.

Is there such a thing as having too many Bibles? Should Christian content creators focus solely on teaching Scripture instead of sharing Bible flip-throughs, journaling supplies, Bible art, and creative ways of spending time in God's Word?

And perhaps most importantly… *when does a personal conviction become an unfair expectation placed on someone else?*

In today's video, I'm sharing my thoughts on this conversation, not to call anyone out or create division, but to hopefully encourage a little more grace, understanding, and appreciation for the different ways people engage with Scripture.

Personally, I LOVE this Bible community.

I love watching someone teach through a passage of Scripture. I love seeing beautiful Bible journaling pages. I love watching Bible flip-throughs, seeing how people annotate their Bibles, and discovering new study resources.

Not everyone has the same gifts, interests, resources, or approach to Bible study, and I think there's room to appreciate those differences while keeping God's Word at the center.

One thing I share in this video is that *my personal convictions are not automatically your convictions, and your personal convictions are not automatically mine.*

Of course, as Christians, we're called to practice wisdom, stewardship, and self-control. I absolutely believe we should examine our hearts and our spending habits.

And speaking of buying another Bible… 😂

Yes, I ALSO have a new Bible flip-through for you today!

📖 *IN TODAY'S VIDEO:*

✨ My thoughts on overconsumption in the Bible community

✨ Bible journaling, Bible art, flip-throughs, and teaching Scripture

✨ Why I appreciate different kinds of Christian content creators

✨ Personal convictions versus expectations placed on others

✨ Stewardship, intentional purchasing, and actually using our resources

✨ Why I own multiple Bibles and how I use them differently

✨ A flip-through of my new A Woman After God's Own Heart Bible

✨ Encouragement to show one another grace as we grow in Christ

At the end of the day, my hope is that we can be a community that encourages one another to open our Bibles, study Scripture faithfully, and continue growing in our relationships with the Lord.

We can celebrate different approaches without assuming that everyone needs to approach Bible study exactly as we do. 🤍

*💬 QUESTION OF THE DAY:*

What are your thoughts on the conversation surrounding overconsumption in the Bible community?

Do you own multiple Bibles for different purposes, or do you prefer using one Bible for everything?

I'd genuinely love to hear your perspective! Let's keep the conversation thoughtful, respectful, and full of grace, even when we disagree. 💜

Thank you for being part of Faithfully Planned and for continuing to encourage one another in the study of God's Word.
