You either love or hate the Nomeda candy. Be careful though, by insulting it you are insulting at least half of Lithuania :D

Gaidelis (the orange candy) is probably the most popular cookie (biscuit) brand in Lithuania. Only kinda recently they got into candies and they are bomb.

omg when he threw the Sūrelis I gasped lol. We always gently put them down to not damage the surounding chocolate :D

A lot of snacks that you took are meant to be taken with beer, hence the saltiness :)

Cinnamon in ketchup isn't unusual it's a standard ingredient, used to plug the hole between umami and sour. Generally too subtle to notice though, you'd only notice the absence. It's a very western thing to only think about cinnamon in terms of sweet but it's perfectly suitable for savoury things.

Jeff Goldblum tries Lithuanian food?! What a honor 🥹

As a lithuanian, this video has inspired me to buy lithuanian-only foods/snacks as much as possible :D
we have some bangers fr

I can't believe Andong deleted the heel of the light rye bread out of this world. That's the best part of a loaf.

Į sveikatą, auk didutis!

Man thank you for visiting my country. Youre so positive and nice, keep it up!!!!

The Gaidelis candy is a candy version of simple yet popular square biscuits also named Gaidelis (Little Rooster). They also come in orange packaging, and are very very affordable.

4:12 actually the most aged version of Džiugas cheese is 60 months, but you can't find them in supermarkets, but only in Džiugas shops, one of them is in Vilnius, somewhere near Dawn Gate
you can also find 48 month aged
if you visit that shop, i suggest trying ice cream with Džiugas cheese

Nomeda is a Lithuanian girls name. Most online sources will say it means "out of the woods"/ "forest dweller". Some will say it might be ancient (OG) Prussian in origin.

Napoleon cake goes in the Napoleon tier of course.

I moved from the US to Lithuania about 5 years ago. It was a huge adjustment food-wise. My favorite has been the Vilnius mushroom mayo - definitely a must try! The Nomeda candies are also usually very good, depends on flavor. Another favorite is the Chazz pink soup potato chip, lol! I've sent photos home of all the weird snack food combinations they have here, but I absolutely LOVE Lithuania :eyes-pink-heart-shape: great video!

I'm very confused why when he is unsure about if the product is Lithuanian or not, he doesn't just check the packaging because there will always be written the country of origin...
