"It will never stop until its objective is fulfilled".

Kyle Reese warned us viewers early in the film and this moment showed how right he was.

Kyle said it best.

"IT ABSOLUTELY WILL NOT STOP! UNTIL YOU ARE DEAD!"

He meant it. And you could feel it

My 16 year old nephew and 22 year old niece watched this and lost their damn minds!!

All the reactions to when the thing just starts moving again takes me right back to 1984 - my wife had nightmares about this thing that just wouldn't STOP!!! 🤣

One of the greatest jumpscares ever, leading into one of the greatest villain deaths.

This is basically a sci-fi version of a slasher movie

6:14 The final shot, where the press crushes the terminator's head, and the light in its eye goes out, was an after shot and was not in the original script. It was filmed in James Cameron's garage after filming was complete. The robot was made of aluminum, and the smoke you see is actually cigarette smoke blown by a man lying just below the camera.

This is a great scene that just underscores my favorite line in the movie, "That Terminator is out there. He can't be bargained with, he can't be reasoned with, he doesn't feel pain, or pity, or remorse. And he absolutely will not stop, EVER; until you are dead.".

2:28 "This thing is starting to piss me off!" I imagine Sarah was thinking the very same thing.

The Australian woman: "Noar!"

In a deleted scene, you see some guys find the microprocessor chip from the T800 and discuss sending it to R&D. Then you see the camera pan out and find out the that they were at Cyberdyne Systems.

Fun fact for anyone who hasn’t seen the deleted/extended scenes. Guess what company owns the factory? None other than Cyberdyne.

It's funny that by the midway point of the movie you kinda start liking the terminator, almost admiring it a little bit for how tough, determined and competent it is, but as soon the skin is gone those feelings go away completely and then you just hate it. You start off by saying "he" and "him", even after you know it's a machine, but again after the skin is gone you call it an "it" and never refer to it as he or him again.

Grew up during the 80s.. Love this movie. Everyone has freaked out in some way when it gets back up... LMAO. Kyle said it Best. "IT ABSOLUTELY WILL NOT STOP! UNTIL YOU ARE DEAD!"

For all you clowns out there who think that there’s never been strong female leads in movies, I give you Linda Hamilton. Now be quiet and all the Alien movies, all the Halloween movies and The Wizard of Oz
