K is a former athlete, he was a marathoner for 8-10 years (he still takes part in marathons sometimes), that’s why his heart rate is much lower than average

11:58 no, the thing is they were not supposed to know each other BEFORE the show, the premise of the show was to choose people who were not friends and build a relationship in the show! But Taki and K knew each other, Taki’s Mom even ask K to take care of Taki, and he actually did for the entire show and still do! Taki is like his baby!

What K is talking about with I-land is that the trainees weren’t supposed to show who they were friends/close with before the show started- once they were on the show they were allowed to form bonds but they didn’t want some of them showing how close they already were. K treated Taki like a younger brother from the start and the producers didn’t like that because it didn’t fit the narrative they were trying to push

you know the craziest thing about nichojoo? they're so opposite even their birthdays : nico july 9th , ej sept 7th

ok so funny story about ej and nicho's friendship they even talked about this themselves, but anyways  so on i-land the two of them kinda barely knew each other and were always separated and like when they were eliminated(they weren't fully eliminated from the show tho) their rooms were right next to each other and one night the two of them wanted to i guess listen to music but the speakers that were in their rooms weren't working and they got frustrated and walked out of their rooms but the funny thing is they walked out at the same time it was awkward for them so they just greeted each other and went back in their rooms, and then in the same video where they explained that, they also explained how ej used to be scared of nicho because in i-land nicho always wore like dark clothes even when they didn't have to wear their assigned cloths, another reason he was scared of nicho was because nicho had like this nonchalant aura to him and he also always had this mean look to him, so one time nicho wanted to get to know ej and had offered ej some chocolate but ej was skeptical and thought that nicho put something dangerous in the chocolate so he rejected nicho's offer. i don't know the name of the video where they talked about this in but i do know a video called Tingle Solon with &team Nicholas and Euijoo on the Youtube show M2 in the video they talk about some things related to the stories i just mentioned :)

Speaking of I-land, the contestants who ended up having most screen time were the ones how people talked about the most after the first episode. The first episode was filmed about a month before the show aired. Sadly Nicholas and EJ didn't get a lot of screen time.
The producers edited the episodes in a way so some contestant received undeserved hate.
The show had live cams that you could compare with the episodes. In the episodes parts were eddited out from different situations wich lead to misunderstandings and hate. I've seen former contestants talk about it. Out of the members in &TEAM EJ and K were victims of that. I don't think a lot of people watched the live cams though since people still are saying bad things about some contestants.

mnet knows that we love some nichojoo but sadly they didnt last even two seconds 😭 so putting nichojoo bigger on the thumbnail was def a strategy LMAO

in their mnet tingle salon asmr video, nichojoo shared their first time interacting with one another. basically nico offered ej chocolate and ej rejected them thinking it was something suspicious because nico looked scary last time 😭 and ej mentioned that he feels most like himself around nico. and guess what, mnet posted a shorts after they filmed this dkdk show on “how does &team flirt” and nico’s was “do you want chocolate” and ej’s was “i feel the most like myself when i’m with luné” LIKE PLEASEEEE

if you want to go deeper into nichojoo, they have a variety show where they became butlers and gave advice to little kids. i watch that so often in my free time LOL

I think their eightest video would be a good one to watch! :) it’s on the longer side so it’s understandable if you can’t but ! 💗

14:53 because in japanese hiragana (simplest form of japanese), ふ (fu) is under the ‘h’ chart (ha, hi, fu, he, ho), and if written in hiragana, fuma’s name would start with the same character. sometimes ふ can be pronounced as hu, and sometimes fu, or even a mix (imagine saying a faint fu while breathing out air? idk how to explain). in one of their vlogs, fuma asked maki (english speaker) why his name is spelled with an F and not H in english HAHA

Honestly I think the idea of keeping the survival show videos open for 3-5 day before locking them is a really good idea! Consistent viewers of your channel can watch the reactions in real time for free but at the end of the day you are still getting some profit (as you should because of all the hours you put into videos) once you lock them for subscription and newer viewers want to watch the videos. Side note: I’m so glad you are finally getting into their variety content😭🙏🏻

yes fuma and k are a ship

yeah i land was not a NORMAL survival show it was a SURVIVAL survival show 😭🙏🏻

This was sooooo cute! This is actually my first Nichojoo moment from a new variety show episode after becoming a Lune. They're adorable 😊
Glad you've prepared options for how you'll do the patreon stuff. Keep it up!

i think the idea you suggested for patreon is a best of both worlds solution! as a sidenote, i second the recommendation for &team's eightest, it's a great video :)

I made an anonymous poll in my community posts, where you can vote on the whole patreon idea! Go check it out if you don't want to tell me your thoughts publicly here :3

&TEAMメンバーの魅力が伝わる韓国コンテンツが大好きです

12:21 every new thing I learn about iland is insane 🙂‍↕️

Oh I know I'm late but about K and Taki pre-ILAND. K, EJ and Nico are Bighit trainees, while Taki was a Be:Lift trainee (with Ni-ki). K is already friends with the Be:Lift trainees so ILand staff doesn't want it because they're from different agencies. Which is weird btw. Be:Lift is Enhypen's agency/management. They almost send K back to Japan for being too close to Taki and Ni-ki (he basically raised these two as he's the only adult these kids can rely to).

37:24 that was my exact reaction, and I thought I was the only one 😭😭😭

The dynamics are so good 😂 that’s why people ship (not weird way)so much like Harua/Maki because of that &audition incident than Nicholas/Ej soulmates K/Fuma 🔥 love it
