The Most Insane Season in Formula 1 History

I talk about 2021 more than most people in the world so in order to not upset any other "older" formula 1 fans i figured we would talk about one of the most insane seasons ever. it's hard to pick out one season from so many because back then people were dying and injuring themselves every other weekend so it's hard to pick one that stands out from the rest, so 1982 was special for so many reasons other than of course the tragic death of Gilles Villeneuve. R.I.P to one of the most talented drivers we have seen. the season had so many ups and downs and ended with the most unexpected winner i think in the sports history (if you take it by the face value) if you enjoyed this video about older formula 1 let me know!!

I don't usually leave comments but I just binged all of your videos and I want you to know that (as many people are saying) they are really well done, and show a genuine, more than surface-level knowledge of/interest in f1 and motorsport in general. I only got into f1 at the beginning of the current season, and it has quickly become something that I am constantly thinking about, and so constantly looking up random information that I'm curious about. I just can't learn enough. I've watched so many videos, as many as I can really, and past the handful of channels that do actually do deep dives into the teams, drivers, (not just fun facts, but aspects of engineering and driving technique that impact driver/team standings, etc), seasons, and technical terms, there are really not many videos that give me the knowledge I want. It has been hard to find content in video format that is actually informative and detailed while also being entertaining and satisfying my fixation. So what I'm trying to say is thank you!!! Please keep doing what you're doing with these videos (as long as it is not impeding any other aspects of your life). Excited to see what topics you cover next :>>>

Hey your channel is really cool!! Can I give u video ideas? (As I'm already giving them...) You could make a video about the state of the title fight throughout the year and how it is now, about the lifting of rb's second seat curse and Lawson in it after Monza, about the way Mercedes is dealing with the two drivers (which is also covered in the Russell video but still), about the current state of Williams, about drivers brands and merch (I just saw sainz released some), about the chances of yuki coming back, about McLarens updates throughout the year and its current state... I'm sure you already have many ideias, this is just some stuff I wanted to watch as an F1 fan. Keep it up!!

Interesting fact. Richard Burns had the same amount of wins, podiums and points as Keke Rosberg the year he won his World Rally Championship in 2001.

While I appreciate it's kind of a stylistic choice which i really enjoyed, we didn't have 70s TV lines in the mid to late 90s. It was greater than potato resolution. At best, half-a-potato resolution. We were rapidly progressing towards the legume scale.
