When he said 'I taught Piracy' LOL.

Lucky to not get stupid questions about celebrities wives. All good general knowledge. This is what the show should be about. Actual, real knowledge.

Imagine him and his brother in a pub quiz. I'd just walk out 😂😂

He was my secondary school teacher in the 90's.......nice to see him win big

Remarkable performance, I was hoping he'd use his lifelines to pull a John Carpenter move and call his brother to say he's going to win the million.

The best part about this is that he seems like such a great guy. He won't quit because he wants to see his A level students to their conclusion, what a guy.

To say he wouldn't retire till his studens had taken their A level exams speaks volumes about the man .    Classy fella .

Him actually 1 upping his brothers 500k is stuff of legend

Such a shame this was during the time that he didn't have a live audience. The reaction would have been epic.

I love people like him. He's so knowledgeable in many subjects and he seems a genuinely nice person.  Well done to him.

He won the show on his terms from start to finish.
Total control.
Well done

In this age of earth crawling cluelessness, it's utterly relieving to watch a truly knowledgeable person.
Thank you for Humanity, Mr. Fear!

I think everyone just wanted him to win the million, such a nice man. I loved the way he played the game, no wasting time just straight to the answer. He's not a man who knows a little about a lot, he's a man who knows at lot about everything. He must be an awesome teacher and his students have been so privileged to have been taught by him.

This guy taught history has just made history, what a guy! We’ll deserved

Absolutely outstanding,  to win with 3 lifelines left is remarkable,  he could easily be the next chaser

The guy who teaches history, makes history! How remarkable is that!

If this guy loses 90% of quizzes against his brother, his brother must basically be omniscient 😂

12:00 "you need to slow down" 😂😂 let us at least try to milk some tension out of this instead of instantly saying "A final answer, next"

I've watched this over a dozen times over the years and it still never fails to make me emotional. What a character - he truly deserves that million.

His humility is inspiring
