This is why YouTube is awesome. We’d never get the full story anywhere else, even if it had been done you’d never find it. I’ve been a Judas Priest fan since I was a teenager and this is a great story.

I'm 63 and Judas Priest has always been one of my favorite bands

I was 13 when my brother brought home Defenders Of The Faith. I was hooked after that. Priest will always be my band

This is why I love YouTube. just keep Ai out of your production and I'll keep coming back for more.

I'm 64. 1'st heard priest in 1976 on a duke box in a hotel lounge in Spain. The Ripper was released as a single in Spain. Saw them live in 78 at Newcastle City Hall. Became obsessed. Still am

Hey, I'm 63 too and Priest were probably my biggest influence as a teenage guitarist besides AC/DC. I'll never forget walking into my local record store when I was 16, looking for the best heavy metal album, and the store owner had "Sad Wings" taped up on the wall, with a sign underneath that said "Best Heavy Rock Album....I mean it!" Bought every one of their albums up to Screaming for Vengeance, which I think is their best, personally. But I still listen to the old albums to bring back the memories. Great history of the band here.

Thank you Glenn Tipton! Wishing you the best with your affliction and praying for healing🙏
Hope to see you playing a full show again soon. Beyond the Realms of Death ; one of the best guitar solos of all time!

The most entertaining and inspiring guitar licks and solos, an absolutely devastating rhythm section, and the Gold Standard for screaming heavy metal vocals. A consistent, grooving British machine grinding through space and time - never gets old.

BEST Priest doc so far! Kudos sir! Its not the same old stories rehashed over and over, what a great job!

Greetings from the UK-England....65 year old Metalhead here, loved Priest since about 1978.I commend your research as a lot of this stuff is completely new to me.

I'm 63 and i've heard the Unleashed Album and my heart was spinning around. From this time on, Judas Priest is my absolute favorite Band. Never left to another. Heavy Metal forever and god praise the metalgods. There is and there will be no other until i die and till the end of time.

This is a fantasic doc. The best one I've seen.  I love Judas Priest. Especially the 70s era. Sad Wings to Unleashed in the East

Sad Wings Of Destiny was the record where they found their sound.
One of the first and best heavy metal records.

Awesome use of vintage images, some of which I've never saw before. I absolutely love Judas Priest. They're still kicking ass all these decades later. 🤘

British Steel was the definitive Judas Priest album for me. All of a sudden I was completely hooked.

Unleashed was my gateway into JP.  I remember it being such a crystal clear sound for a live album and you could crank it up with little distortion.  Metal gods.

Priest is a great band.  I have always felt bad that I helped boo them off the stage in 1980 (maybe 1979?) when they opened for UFO in San Jose, Calif at the Center for the Performing Arts.  I later learned to love JP, bought all the records/CDs, and still listen today.  I’m sorry JP for booing you off the stage that day.   You didn’t deserve it.  It’s one of the many guilts I still carry after all these years.

June 29th 1980 i had the privilege of seeing Judas Priest live at the super Jam concert in st.Louis Missouri they and Sammy hagar stole the show. it was amazing

This is great because Judas Priest have always been my
favorite metal band since 1977

Judas Priest has been my fav band for 48 yrs and counting. I know a lot of Priests history but I have to admit. This is the best info on Priests history I’ve ever heard. Great video. Sabbath got the ball rolling for metal but I honestly believe Judas Priest was just as important. The twin lead guitar,,vocal style,,double bass and of course the eventual look of metal bands. Priest made such an impact. 70’s 80’s,90’s and 2000’s up they continue delivering great metal . People focus on the 80’s lineup. But I love every era and every era has some kind of lineup change. Richie Faulkner and before him Scott Travis were key to maintaining their heavy metal legacy. Album 20 is on the way and I’m just as excited as I was waiting for Screaming for Vengeance follow up Defenders. Every album every decade. No other band has done it consistently like Priest. Their last three albums are incredible. Maiden hasn’t made a great album in decades but Priest just keep rolling.
