I used to draw Tomb Raider inspired side-scroller levels on paper when I was a kid. It's like getting to see your childhood dream. Phenomenal work.

I've heard that the old few side scrolling 2D Tomb Raiders released on Nintendo handhelds were actually really good too.

And if you told me this game is an official new release or an old Tomb Raider that was cancelled and finally released, I'd believe you. This looks really well done and the best new thing this series has seen in a long time.

It's absolutely amazing !

This really does look amazing, I'm gonna try it out.
They really could make a full on metroidvenia with this style.
It would be a nice detail if the "crystals" were different "artifacts" rather than the same repeated glowy diamond-thing. It would really fit the archeological/treassure-hunting theme of the franchise. Extra points if between missions you could see them displayed at your manssion like in the opening menu.
