Couldn't agree more. I had a 350 Meteor for 3 years, bought a 650 Super Meteor and swapped back to a new 350 Bullet. Those 350 J series engines are sweet. There's a group of us retired fogeys meet at The Old Stores every Friday morning. Most of us have got Harleys and we've all bought Royal Enfields as well. We're off on an Enfield trip in July to The Ardennes and Germany. Who says the 350's can't tour? Too old to camp now (I wouldn't be able to get up off the ground!!) we're sharing rooms in cheap hotels. Bring it on!!! 😁

Ive just completed an 8 hour ride on mine in Kerala (south india).
Its difficult to quantify why this bike gives so much pleasure to those who ride it, so i wont try.
Just ride one and see. Magical.

Agree 100%. Buy the bike for what you want/need it for, then it never disappoints.

Two types of riders buy the 350 Classic, those who like the looks but quickly decide that they need more power (so they get one of the 650s) and those who feel so happy to have found the perfect bike for them. I’m in the latter camp and I love every minute on the little treasure! Thanks for the video.

Yep, I agree with every word. Had my Classic 350 for nearly 18 months now. Bought it new at £4000 and clocked 4500 miles so far. Best bike I've ever ridden 👍

Perfect bike for those roads. I’ve had mine for 12 months and 6000 happy miles, mostly on roads like these. I can’t think of a bike that I’ve enjoyed more in a very long riding career.

I'm so jealous of the natural scenery you have there in Wales.  I hope you never take it for granted.

Wise words and I couldn't agree more. I think you have summed up just why smaller capacity bike sales are growing faster than larger bikes. You can have just as much fun if not more on a small bike without risking your licence or your life 👍

I’ve returned to biking on a Meteor 350 having had many big trailies and am loving. I’m old, experienced and my first bike was an interceptor 250 in the sixties. These bike are pure joy.

I like the military version of the classic 350 definitely one to add to my collection

I have ridden my XSR900 for 5 years, just bought a brand new classic 350 green. It is a perfect city bike for me, the handlebar is more stable than a scooter, very fuel efficient, not mention the classic look is amazing.

Totally agree , I live in southern Austria , and my Bronze 350   Classic is just perfect for the type of riding I do , I pop over the Plockenpass into Italy , and have been up Grossglockner a couple of times and it handles it all with ease , I have bigger bikes , but the classic gets used the most , good video , I love Wales , I have relatives in West Wales , Tregaron,Ceredigion , and I was there in September , great roads but sadly no bike !

My favourite bike of the four I own. Two Harleys have been and gone but the 350 is still here. An amazing bike that is greater than the sum of its parts. If I could only keep one bike, it would be this.

Amen to that. Passed my bike test at 56, bought a very sensible mid-sized sports tourer that was easily capable of gobbling high miles at high speed - but found it all quite dull. Traded it for a Classic 350 autumn last year for all the same reasons. Great for some simple B roading around my own head 👌

Would love to have little backroads as you do, unfortunately here in Aus there are vast distances to cover & 20HP just doesn't cut it. Took one for a test ride & loved it but to survive here you need rapid acceleration to avoid the morons in cages.

I'm with you, I don't need the busy motorways. I've found a whole new way to ride. I loved the Meteor 350 so much I got a Classic also!  Cheers
