Begin this new week by thanking God first and placing every day of it into His hands. 🙏🌤️ This October 12 Monday morning prayer is for anyone stepping into a full calendar, an empty one, or a week they are quietly dreading, and who wants to walk through it with God's peace and guidance.
Before you look at your calendar, look up. Before you check your messages, bring your heart to the Lord. Before you worry about what these seven days will ask of you, thank Him for the week itself. Not after it turns out well. Not after the test results come back or the money stretches far enough. Now. Because God is good, and His goodness does not wait for our circumstances to improve.
The Bible reminds us in Psalm 118:24, "This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it." The goodness of a day comes from the One who made it, not from what happens in it. A week can hold tears and a hospital visit and still be a week worth thanking Him for, because He is present in every one of its days.
In this prayer, we thank God first and give Him this week, asking Him to:
