Rental boyfriend experience can officially be ticked off my Japan bucket list now ✅❤ What was your favourite part of our date and the more important question - who should I rent next?!

Being the cameraman has to be the most weirdest thing in this typa vids

It’s a bit weird that people keep commenting on chemistry. Yes, it’s a very cute video and such great energy all the way around but Narumi is clearly just doing his job. He’s on the clock, he’s working. And on top of it, he’s in front of a camera. There’s so much acting in this whole thing.

I think having a rental boyfriend would make me feel worse

@Aprils.life06 6 months ago

The sad thing is that if they get attached to him it’s sad when he leaves because he’s temporary.

If you even thought he was liking you a little it brought it right back to reality when you were paying him for the extra hour and he told you you forgot the tax. He did a good job as a rental boyfriend.

At the end of the day, this is a business for him. He is acting, he has to be super sweet. The fact he asked for tax amount proved this.

I'm so glad you started speaking Japanese with him. His comfort level skyrocketed and the real fun began. 🤩

It's so weird spending a day full of memories with someone you'll never see again

"Cheating!?!?!"
"No honey, service!" 🤣😘

You’re probably the most normal customer he’s ever had

on the surface lvl it might seem as a good thing but when you go deeper it's actually sad and depressing when you think about the people booking the boyfriend over and over.

@christopherphillips9891 7 months ago

What was depressing to me was not the rental boyfriend idea -- but that they couldn't find anything more interesting to do or talk about.

Even weirder having someone walking in front of you with a camera 😅

Narumi is laughing all the way to the bank

You're basically paying for a small guided tour around the city with a buddy. Honestly, I'd do this if I were new in town. I don't see the harm in it as long as you know what your signing up for and don't let your emotions get in the way.

This was the weirdest experience of my life. And I wasn’t there.

Narumi needs a side, side hustle coaching guys on how to be attentive boyfriends. He’d be such a great teacher!

“I’m single.”
“I’m sober.”

This made me chuckle because when I was living in Japan almost 30 years ago, people would pay me $100 per hour just to have conversations in English. 😂
