I love how Mike popped up as almost every-other extra male character on the show before he became host lol

That Joel plays a farmer that tells a Monsato representative to get off his land puts the show over the top for me

24:40: That's high-tech how I like it: an analog meter with "Space Speed" written on it! How could you go wrong?

Truth: The real Jack Perkins is a fan of the show and considers Mike's impersonation of him one of the best and funniest.

It's been almost 30 years and I've seen this episode at least 100 times, and while this entire episode is gold, I still crack up every single time I hear Joel say "Did he say whopper? Is that a pet name?"

"But how do I get aboard?"
"You go through the lumber yard. That's how you get a board."

The shot of Bacchus 3 flying over the building always makes me think of Star Fox 64's ending.

"What I expect from you is total obedience!"
"If that's okay with you..."
The riffing in the episode is genius

“He thinks I’m a pallet”, “tried to kill me with the forklift “ is so funny one of the best songs ever.

I wouldnt have even been able to tell that was Mike with a fake beard etc if it wasnt for his voice. Probably the best production value on the series to boot lol
