This mix used to be my identity at a certain point in life, and shaped who I am now. No eggagerating. Still evokes great feels and memories. So glad we crossed roads in this universe.

Saw JD for the 1st time in Tempe AZ in 2000 and again in LA in 2002. It's time to make an effort to find him and relive the youth with my wife in 2021. Covid 19 screwed up this year, but I won't rest until my wife sees what I've been talking about for 7 yrs now.

In 2018 I thought I was vulnerable to this set…turns out 5 years later I was in love with this set

RIP Avalon Hollywood! Yeah, it still exists in name, but it's a shell of what it was, and what is sounded like, in the early to mid 2000's. I went there last year (2024) to see Lee Burridge. And while he was of course great, the old legendary sound system they used to have was gone.

I love this set, absolute filth.... I'd love to be able to get hold of the full set from somewhere as I don't believe this was just an 80 minute set !
