Patient (20M) suffered Trauma 2 months ago.
MRI: C5 Compression Fracture with retrolisthesis & severe cord compression (Canal 5mm at C4-C5). C3-C6 Spinal Cord Contusion & Supraspinous ligament disruption.
Done Surgery: C4, C5, C6 Laminectomy & Fixation (2 months ago).
Current Status:
- Partial hand movement, but no strength.
- Chest sensation present, but NO movement or feeling below chest.
- Loss of bladder & bowel control.
- Tingling sensation spreading up to head.
Q: Doctor, in this case of C-Spine cord contusion, is there any chance of recovery for walking/hand strength, and what should be the best rehabilitation plan?
